We encourage you to come as you are. When you worship with us, you will see people dressed in a variety of ways; some in suits & dresses, others are dressed very casually, and everything in between.

Yes, we do offer a nursery during our worship service for kids up to 3 years old. However, we also love to have kids in the worship service as they learn best how to worship by actually doing it with the rest of the congregation.

Kirk of the Plains is a smaller church of 50-60 in attendance on Sunday morning. It consists of people of all ages, from newborns to those in their golden years, from all walks of life. Kirk of the Plains is a congregation that takes God’s Word very seriously and seeks to live out God’s Word in their lives in very tangible ways of loving God and loving others. So a priority of our congregation is to be in each other’s lives in a way that fosters biblical community.

The 2025 Midwest Bible Conference will explore the fortifying power of the Word, prayer, and the sacraments as God’s gifts for equipping all believers for every good work.

The Midwest Bible Conference is an assembly of Christians devoted to the proclamation of the infallible and inerrant Word of God. It is hosted annually in the Kansas City metropolitan area and exists to make conference-level Bible teaching available to residents in the Midwestern United States. This assembly is abundantly blessed by the collaborative efforts of Reformed churches who hold to the same confidence in God’s Word.
