Midweek Study & Prayer
Our primary gathering is on Sundays for worship, but we also gather again during the week each Wednesday night beginning at 7:00 pm for a time of study & prayer.
What to Expect
Our weekly Wednesday evening meetings begin with people arriving and enjoying a time of fellowship before we begin our study. Around 7:00 pm, we open with a song (traditional or contemporary hymn, and/or a Psalm) and a brief prayer. The children, then go off for a time of study & fellowship while the adults/youth spend time studying God’s Word and then end with a season of prayer.
Finally, around 8:30 pm we close by enjoying a time of snacks and fellowship before heading home. Dress is casual. All ages are welcome! We meet at the Franks’ home at 212 Dogwood Ct, Andover, KS 67002.
Fall 2019 Study
Opponents of Christianity raise challenging questions about the origins, authorship, age, and reliability of the twenty-seven books of the New Testament. When the authenticity of the New Testament is questioned, so is the gospel. In this series, Dr. Michael Kruger critiques the most common objections to the canon and presents abundant evidence that these books are the authentic, true, and inspired Word of God. This is a series to help dispel doubts and give you confidence that the right books, and only the right books, are in the Bible.
On the first and third Wednesday nights of each month this Fall, we will work our way through this study on the NT Canon. On the second & fourth Wednesdays our men & women’s studies will meet. On the fifth Wednesday of each month we will gather for an extended time of prayer.
