One of the values of Kirk of the Plains is to make strong maturing disciples. To do this end it is not enough to disciple our people at church only but also in the home. Therefore, we see it as a priority to work with women, who have such a great impact on the home, to help them grow in their faith and to help others that are under their care and oversight to do the same.
Women's Study (Fall 2019)
Therefore our women gather bi-monthly on the second & fourth Wednesday evenings of each month for a time of study, fellowship and prayer toward this end. Please join us from 7:00 – 8:30 pm as our women gather for a time of spiritual refreshment & renewal.
Starting in September 2019 we will be studying Identity Theft, edited by Melissa Kruger. Depending on the season, we as women focus our identity on our job performance, marital status, personality type, or social network, among other options. However, there is a larger question to consider. Who does the Bible tell me I am in Christ? Please join us for this heart searching study.
Women's Book Club
We are so excited to be rolling out the Kirk of the Plains women’s book club! This will be a quarterly group meeting on the fourth Monday of the month at 6:30 pm in January, April and July, October. We hope this will be a perfect opportunity to get together for a time of fellowship and great discussion while exploring and convicting books.
