Ravi Zacharias Hid Hundreds of Pictures of Women, Abuse During Massages, and a Rape Allegation
You may have heard of allegations made against Ravi Zacharias shortly after he died. Well the board of his ministry has just released the results of their investigation and it is heart breaking. Please pray for Ravi’s family, those who served so faithfully in his ministry all these years, as well as those who have followed his ministry. It is always hard to watch a leader in the church fall and the affects can be devastating. I so appreciate the comments of a dear friend, Adam Parker, regarding this situation:
“I am deeply grieved. These things were already known, but not the extent of them. I am reminded of the importance of accountability for leaders, of the importance of a session, a presbytery, and a denomination. Each time something like this happens I am reminded that the Lord knew these things when they were still secret, and that he knows each of the wayward thoughts that we all have. May he have mercy on us in Christ, and may those who have experienced abuse find peace in Christ in spite of the failure of Ravi’s life and testimony.”
