In keeping with our purpose to MAKE DISCIPLES OF CHRIST who

we are compiling a list of resources that we have found helpful in the ministry of Kirk of the Plains toward this end.   While we may not agree with every viewpoint expressed in these resources, we have found them helpful enough that we would like to commend them to you for your growth in the Lord.  You will notice that the first set of  tabs below represent each part of our purpose statement, while the second set are divided according to different ministries of our church so we can post links for our people to reference as they participate in our ministries.  Our hope is that these resources will be a benefit to you and your household in your spiritual walk with God.

As is often the case, from time to time, websites change their links and so it is possible that you may find a broken link from time to time.       • Voice of the Martyrs  – organization dedicated to praying for the persecuted church.  They have a Global Prayer Guide to help you pray for the persecuted church.
      • Open Doors   – organization dedicated to praying for the persecuted church.  They have a World Watch List of the places where the church is most persecuted.
      • Life in the Mundane – They offer prayer cards to help kids pray for the persecuted church.

  • Free ebooks from Monergism – Monergism believes the Church should have open access to Scripturally/Theologically sound edifying Christian literature and that one need not be held back from having a significant Christian library because of cost. The ministry at Monergism involves providing quality Christian literature in accessible formats for free. Most of these eBooks are high quality and available in both ePub and .mobi (kindle) formats with actively linked table of contents.
  • Free ebooks from Ligonier ministries (Crucial Questions series)  – To further help Christians know what they believe, why they believe it, how to live it, and how to share it.

  •  The Acrostic of God audiobook for kids (YouTube) – This is a rhyming theology that gives children an alphabetical list of the titles and attributes of God written with a rhyming beat, Jonathan Gibson and Timothy Brindle make The Acrostic of God fun and easy to memorize. Each characteristic, A to Z, weaves together a beautiful picture of God.
