KOTP Workday Tomorrow (5/7) at 1pm
Hi all! We are on the last day of hosting meal delivery for the Andover Police Department, so now it is time to switch gears and begin getting things in order for Saturday’s clean up day!
Location: 7099 SW Meadowlark, Andover, KS 67002 (just east of the turnpike on 70th (21st street in Andover)
We will be meeting at 1pm (at the address above) to help clear debris from two properties, covering about 2 acre per property. City of Andover has said kids ages 10 and up can volunteer as well, with adult supervision, so parents, feel free to bring your kids over that age at your own discretion. It is recommended that you wear boots or sturdy shoes, and bring along work gloves if you can. We will be providing water and snacks for those working, and hope to cover as much ground as we can. Come for as long as you are able, even if it is for an hour or two!
Also, if you have friends wanting a way to help, they are welcome to join us as well! Just give me an idea of how many may come, so that I can communicate that to the people we are helping. (just fyi, if any of you know Matt Agard, it is his mother and uncle that we are helping out tomorrow!)
